Cheke Leke. All is good.
The rain came on time today…every two hours.
They get an average of eight feet in one year….96 inches…wow.
We completed that last of the 600 blocks. The gable ends are complete and the trusses are built. We put the cornerstone and the capstone on the house. We actually used power tools for the trusses. We also learned the fine art of using nails over and over.
We had local fish and plantains and salsa for lunch. The ladies did our laundry by hand and Dr Tom fixed Juan’s tooth. Our facilities are great and the kids at Send Hope are so happy and always want to play.
Most people here trade for services by bartering.
All our clothes are hung to dry. Everywhere outside and inside.
