Job site day 6

Today was another amazing day. We continued work on the house. The doors and windows went in and the bond beam (solera) was poured on top. We had a few hiccups…the truck delivering the concrete blocks got stuck in the mud and after 3 hours and two trucks we finally got it unstuck with a dump truck.

Another mishap was that the wall started leaning when they put the scaffolding up. Luckily we saved it.

We learned to count from one to five in Moskitia ….kum wal upa walwal machip

At Casa Esperanza they finished the door and five rows of block. This will divide the old classrooms into an office for Katrina and a play room for the orphans.

We saw Zoe, Walters daughter.
